About the Role
Full time licensed structural engineer with emphasis on steel design. Responsibilities include design and review of structures from concept through construction. Working with contractors and providing construction support. Prepare code based criteria, develop and debug math models. Will work on a variety of projects, primary focus will be on cranes and ports.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
US SE License (Any state is acceptable)
Knowledge of ASCE/AISC and IBC codes
Experience designing bolted and welded connections
4 years of experience with Finite Element Analysis
Experience Designing Complex Steel Structures
Preferred Qualifications
Master of Science, Master of Engineering
PhD in Civil/Structural Engineering
US Structural SE License in Washington
SAP2000 Experience; Experience with Non-Linear Time History FEA Analysis
Experience with Cranes, Marine Structures, and/or Off-shore Structures
Familiarity with CMAA, AIST, and/or FEM standards and Codes
Knowledge of IEBC Code

Base Salary Estimate: $110,000 - $160,000
Benefit Package: Employer funded/provided healthcare plan with monthly health savings account (HSA) contributions ($3,800/year). Dental and Vision insurance coverage. Performance based bonuses. Paid sick leave, paid vacation, paid holiday (Up to 7 weeks total paid time off per year). SARSEP (simplified employee pension) retirement plan with no vesting period. CP&A participate in Washington State family leave; paid parental leave (both maternal and paternal) 90% of salary up to $1,427 per week for 12 weeks.
